"Icônes & Contrastes" is an artistic project born in Carcassonne, driven by a long-standing friendship and a shared passion for creation.
Behind each work are Kevin Gimenez, artist, and Adrien Belmas, childhood friend and driving force behind the project, both natives of Carcassonne.
A bond that has remained intact over the years, and which has now become a fully embraced artistic adventure.
From a very early age, drawing became a natural language for Kevin. After years of exploring this world, the desire to move on to painting became obvious.
It was then that a simple sentence, uttered by Adrien, marked the true starting point of the project: « What are we waiting for? »
Through the stencil style, Kevin depicts contemporary celebrities and icons by playing on strong contrasts, marked shadows, and raw emotions.
For our artistic movement, we operate between Carcassonne, Pezens and Toulouse.
From the medieval city of Carcassonne, to Pezens in the heart of its vineyards and terroir, to Toulouse the pink city, our works travel and take place here and there for your admiring eyes.
